A Juvenile Wren

JJ's tee-off time was 0645 this morning, so I decided to have an early morning walk to see if there were any birds around and whether the wheat field had been cropped, which it hasn't.

I got some lovely pictures of a young Whitethroat but for me it had to be this baby wren, which was busy preening in some shrubbery.

I've spent a lot of time sitting in the garden reading and watching a little field vole darting in and out of one of the borders.
