Another hot and sunny day.  I took a walk in Eggerslack Woods to see if I could find any Purple Hairstreak butterflies (and to take advantage of the shade).  I had one possible sighting but I could not be sure.

Also I have to report that Purdy is missing; we haven't seen her at all today.  There is probably nothing to worry about as she will most likely be curled up asleep in the shade under a bush somewhere and she will reappear when she is hungry or wants some fuss.
