Crummock Water, Lake District

I started the day with a run and managed to complete it before the rain came.  I do love running on holiday and seemed to have extra energy to burn today! 

We took a wander into Cockermouth and bought a few bits and pieces as well as enjoying a coffee and scone in Merienda's.  

We bought some bread from the recommended Coffee Kitchen Bakery, as well as some iced ginger shortbread which we have become quickly addicted to!!!

The weather cleared up in the afternoon so we took a walk around Crummock Water and I began to think it would be good to have a wet suit so I could enjoy an open water swim. WP enjoyed her swim in her fur suit!!
