Highlight of the day for sure!

Started today with a trip to a store round the corner from us to buy a lawn mower!!! Oh my, how our lives have changed …

Lawn mower and whipper snipper purchased, we headed for a quick shop for lunch, then car washes, before heading off to the show we’d booked. Bruce and Jenny came with us.

It was such a wonderfully put together show of Aretha Franklin’s life and music. So pleased to have had this opportunity to learn about her and appreciate her music even more. And there were plenty of emotional moments for us all too.

Back home, Ben and Jon had put together a lovely Lebanese meal for us all. It was just perfect. First time that Jenny & Bruce were having a Lebanese meal.

The day finished off with the third game in the France/Wallabies rugby series. It was a decider and thankfully The Wallabies won, yay!!!
