Santos Bike Trails...., Bike Ride

A break in the weather today..... no rain or thunderstorms, hot temps (90's)  a nice breeze and much drier air.     My friend and I (Pam) got together for a, Egg Mcmufifn, and a ride at Santos.  It was wonderful out there, under the tree canopy,  in the middle of the Ocala National Forrest. 
       12 miles out brought us to the Land Bridge that crosses over a major 4 lane highway (75).     When we got there , we found a family.  Grandma from England, daughter who lives in Ocala,  Her 8 month old son and, Emily her friend. All three were on bikes,  the Grandson was n a tote carriage that mom pulled with her bike. Grandma was visiting here.  I offered to get photos for them, then we got phots of us, we shared 30minutes of wonderful conversation.          The day finished with lunch at a new restaurant, called "Chicken Salad Station", or something similar to that.  It was delicious and I highly recommend it.   It also had a Bananna cream pie with lemon drizzle and pineapple, very creamy and tasty!  We a  wonderful day and  hope to ride it again tomorrow.
