Lyon Fish

Joined Dave and family for his birthday holiday up in Glen Lyon where we fished the river which was low and clear. Some fish had apparently moved in the week before.

I pulled out this beautiful 12lb spring salmon within a couple of hours of arriving. - Unbelievable luck and a tiny bit of skill, which was overshadowed by me falling in the river twice when I was landing it.

..but I held onto the rod and the fish and it fed about seventeen of us the next night.

(Purdey doesn't quite understand fish, but quite likes licking the slime off the scales)
