Just Married!

Photo taken between the Church and Hotel. The church service really focused on the young couple and was very fitting. It was live streamed for folks that couldn’t attend because of the Restrictions.

The Norton House Hotel and Spa put on a lovely bespoke reception. Everything went to plan! After the great speeches and meal etc the guests relaxed outside on the spacious terrace for the rest of the evening. It was the warmest day of the year in Edinburgh.

Only their closest friends and family attended. Everyone enthusiastically remarked on the day; it had a nice gentle pace, and was a loving and happy event. It was lovely to see the hats and dresses, the kilts and trews, and outfits worn by children. Not to mention the bridal party; lovely dresses etc. Oh, and the flowers and….aye, a different wedding to that previously planned - but in very many ways it turned out better. We’ll certainly not forget it. And everyone enjoyed being together; all the guests stayed until the (earlier) finish and almost all stayed overnight in the Hotel. It was a really special occasion.
