Upside down smile

Our grandson often has what his mum calls an upside down smile.  He isn't sad but its an expression he often gives.  In this case he was very engrossed in his interactive reading book and had to be encouraged to look up.

Its been another very hot day.  I did venture out to the allotment first thing to pick some strawberries but otherwise stayed indoors.  Our grandson was taken for a stroll to the beach and enjoyed walking along the main promenade and through the high street.  

We tried encouraging Lucas into the paddling pool in the afternoon but he was very reluctant and quickly came out to enjoy reading his books indoors.
