Perfect cricketing weather

On the positive side my new basic Garmin watch works like a dream. Instant GPS pick up, always on and easy to read even in bright sunlight and gives an accurate elevation reading. My second run today, no easier than the first but still no pain. Motivation is getting prepared for the significant ascents and descents on the Jersey Coastal Path. Currently their covid cases top even the UK, worst case scenario I’ll loose out on the ridiculously cheap EasyJet flights and be disappointed.
What’s impressive, back to the Garmin, is that the running map it churns out colour codes your speed  and I was interested to note that I was my fastest right at the end, which always used to my thing. Old habits.
And it solves a problem if I’m ever short of a blip. The patterns I made on the playing field are quite artistic.
The weather in the afternoon was perfect for cricket.
