What a lovely day we’ve had.

After months of chatting via messenger, my friend Nicola finally came round for a proper catch up. It was so nice to see her and we just picked up where we’d left off the last time.

She was keen to hear all about the wedding plans I didn’t want to bore her, but she asked! and we chatted about work and the people we used to work with.

Mr A made a great butler, bringing us tea and cake when requested, but staying a discreet distance while we nattered away.

This evening, we had a bbq followed by a leisurely lounge on our pavilion, trying to plan a playlist for the wedding night.
I tried and failed to include Mr A’s family. Out of about 30 suggestions for songs, only about 4 were any good.
Laura suggested pretty much the whole of Michael Jackson’s back catalogue.
His dad wanted the theme from Star Wars and his brother suggested Nellie the Elephant.

Is it too late to uninvite them? :-D
