Native Art

This piece of handiwork is on the wall in my eye doctor's office.  I asked her about it today when I saw her for my post-op appointment, but she didn't have much time to talk about it.  She only said it was hand-carved in Montana. We both speculated on whether the feathers were from a pheasant or not.  She was unbelievably busy.  There was a waiting room full of patients and I think most of them were waiting for her.   My eye is doing just fine.  I have a number of drops that I have to use until I see her again on Wednesday.
