Eating out

Luckily along the route we spotted sales place for caravan and motorhomes, this opened at 12.00, Sunday, and here we bought two new leisure batteries, what a relief. We, John, spent hour or so changing old for new and back to normality, feeling very lucky to be in an area where a replacement could be made.

We headed north towards the coast above Aberdeen and found a great spot for an overnight stay on a harbour where a suggested donation of £10.00 a night was paid. It was foggy on arrival but later cleared a little and once the tide was out a beautiful expanse of sand appeared.

We decided to check out the local and had a very good steak and chips with a huge glass of red. A good end to the day.
