Picnic time

Wow!  Wild night last night - wind, wind and more wind, mostly accompanied by rain too.  Hope everyone has come through the storm OK.  I'm sure there will be areas that have fared badly though - fingers crossed for nothing life-threatening. 

The bird feeders had taken a bit of a hammering last night so I took the opportunity to do some running repairs and make some improvements to their feeding opportunities.........so far, so good.  The fruit is proving very popular!

And if new and fresh is good for the birds, it's good for me too.  Made some broccoli stem soup and also made a (cheats ie packet) fudge brownie.  Maybe not 'fresh' per se, but definitely yum!
