Ol' Blue Eyes
Another ridiculously early blip, but I've freed myself up to finish one of the photography books I'm making.
Just as well the birds don't know about lockdown.
This bower bird was most confused when the apple he'd been enjoying fell from the nail.
I like to think this is his quizzical look:))
It's snowing on and off, so I might replace him later.
I say 'him', but it's possibly a female.
The juvenile males look like this for seven years, when they develop beautiful dark blue, satiny sheen.
Tighter restrictions have just been announced, and several local government areas have been placed in very strict lockdown.
And so it goes.
