nonetheless, i used the heat as an excuse to buy this (a mere $1.50!) with my requisite 2 tomatoes at the atwater village farmers' market today.

also got to hear the dodgers thump the rockies tonight, which is more than i can say for my former home team, the indians, who lost to the yankees after beating them 22-4 yesterday.
