A quiet morning (which was good, it meant I could pack ahead of the Orcadian odyssey) before heading into town. I went for a haircut on Forrest Rd (my 2 previous barbers having retired and sectioned respectively) and then met up with Her to head for Easterhoose for Jimmy Cauty's latest creation. A slightly surreal walk from the station through the wasteland that still has streets and pavements and some street lights, but no houses...!

It did not disappoint; Amber Rubb and smoke screens notwithstanding. And for kicks, we then went to the Lochs shopping centre for a trip back to the 80's (a fag shop, a meat retailer and Betty's Beauty Parlour) Oh and trolley spotting a plenty (see extra)

Given the tight time scales for Wednesday, we chickened out of heading into town; and the offer of a meet up with Helpix; that will come, though. 

Home we went; and packing was completed as much as it could be. Along with the much anticipated final that everyone wanted that ended up being a semi final.
