Thistle do nicely

After a very filling lunch of Cajun chicken salad, complete with chips, in The Clachan with friend Alison, I felt the need for some exercise when I got home.

It was my first walk around Balfron for more than a week and I noticed a big difference in the fields, where the warm, sunny weather has ripened the crops to a lovely golden hue.

However, it was this stem of thistles that caught my eye for Flower Friday. Have a good weekend, blipmates.
