Glasses extravaganza

Went to Vision Expo all day to look at frames, then when I tried to get a cab back to Brooklyn, NOBODY would stop. I even asked about 5 private cars. They even turned me down. I think it was a change of shift, and close to rush hour, and the fact that I was in Manhattan. Frustrated and hungry, I went and had a salad and bourbon while I tried to figure my way back. Ended up meeting up with S, then caught a train back to Brooklyn. Had drinks at Jake Walk before meeting up with the guys. We had a more drinks at clover club, then we had an amazing dinner at La Vara.
