Lavender fields forever

Inspired by Blipping Along's marvellous blip the other day *, I took Mum and Hector to Lordington this morning to see the lavender fields. It was a longer - and hillier - walk than I had expected but we all made it round in spite of the heat and had a really nice time. I did carry Hector for some of it, but he had a great time meeting people and dogs and handled the large numbers really well. I got him some lavender dog shampoo and tried a lavender ice cream myself (very nice!).

*by now she will think I'm stalking her!
