Oldshoremore Beach

The 3 hour drive from Inverness in the sun was lovely. We decided to take the shorter single track Loch Shin route rather than far longer Ullapool route and it was definitely the right choice. The scenery improves the further West you go and eventually you reach the 3 striking peaks of Ben Stack, Arkle and Foinaven. A panorama of Arkle is one of the extras.

After we got to our rental we headed off to Oldshoremore beach for a moody stomp on the sand with some interesting clouds and light for company.
