Ice cream at the seaside

After work today, Mr hazelh and I cycled down to Portobello, then travelled by car with Paddy and Caitlin to Gullane for an evening on the beach. It was wonderful.

We started with ice cream (blipped), then swam (extra), drank Paddy's homebrew, sunbathed (the other extra, starring the pool lizard), and swam again. Afterwards we returned to Paddy and Caitlin's flat for pizza, then the cycle home.

The earlier part of the day was more routine: morning walk and research assessment for me; exercise and writing for Mr hazelh.

Exercise today: walking (8412 steps), cycling (10 miles), swimming in the North sea.
