Jun 21. Morning in the park. Leica MP, 35mm, HP5+

I took this a couple of weeks' ago when walking around a local park with the dog (see second image). I ended up shooting a roll of film and calling the little project 'Morning in the park'. I arrived just after I had dropped the kids off to school when the park was still quiet. I wanted to capture the sense of openness and quietude in the park during that walk. I've only started to scan the images, but I'll put them into some sort of story at some point.

On a side note. I went down to Weymouth today with the film camera. However, the 35mm lens decided to start to fall apart on me! It's going off to be repaired tomorrow. It's a great lens so it's a shame it needs to be fixed. Apparently it's a bit of a common problem with Leica 35mm summicrons. My first issue with Leica in over 10 years, so not that bad. Well, until the bill comes in...
