Cool woods

More woodland exploring today, this time to the north of Strathpeffer above Contin and Rogie falls. The weather was very warm but walking in the cool woods was lovely and very quiet. I put in an extra too.

Evening we went to watch the salmon leap at Rogie falls. There was a holiday atmosphere in the car park between all the small campervans that were staying there as it was now labelled as a free stop over, a very friendly bunch. There was nobody on the walks as we had left it to 8pm on purpose. Lovely sitting by the waterfall watching salmon when the temp was still 21 deg C.
