BEAUTIFUL RIDE

I was at the track again today starting to shoot the WeatherTech International Challenge w/Brian Redman.

Every year, Masters Historic Racing, out of England, brings over a fleet of past champion and historically significant automobiles to race on the vaunter 4.084 mile track at Road America.

This is the 2007 Peugeot Prototype 908 HDi which ran at LeMans and won it in 2009. Designed by Paolo Catone, it has a carbon fiber chassis, a Peugeot HDi 5.5 litre V12 twin-turbo Mid-engine longitudinally mounted diesel engine. It sports a 6-speed sequential manual transmission and was driven by some notable drivers: Jacques Villeneuve, Sebastien Bourdais, Simon Pagenaud, Anthony Davidson and David Brabham, among others.

It is truly a fantastic car as any motorhead will testify. I'd give my eye teeth to drive it...although I'd likely kill myself in the process.

Best in Large.
