25°C

It was already warm when I took Django out before 09:00, with every promise of being the hot day that was forecast. It rarely gets above 25°C in the east of Scotland, so this might be the hottest day we het this year.

It was just a short walk, as I had to be back for a meeting with three Japanese guys that I know fairly well. Technically they are "customers", but they are so polite and keen to share what they've done with someone who understands the material, that it was like a very formal chat with friends. PhD student M was on the call, and they were very pleased to have his input.

Then it was back to the coding project, before my annual review, which was dominated by discussion of its future, and that of its contributors.

It was such a lovely warm evening that I impulsivity extended Django's walk by going up into the Pentlands. Having just taken this photo, I'm sitting in shorts and teeshirt cooled by the breeze, with a warm dog's panting in my ear. And for his fans, here's one with him in it (see extra).
