The Morning After

Last night our little expat community, representing at least 10 different nations (entirely excluding Ireland), celebrated St. Paddy's Day in grand style. Today those of us who oganized the fete gathered to dismantel the decorations and clean up the tremendous mess. However, when kettwigefrau and I arrived, we discovered that our gracious hostess and her mate had already tackeled the project and completed all the work - right down to washing every last glass and polishing the floors.

So there was nothing left to do, except that which we really do best anyway - have a little drink and eat cake!
