Show me show me

Today we had tickets to see the Chris and Pui roadshow (apparently show me show me is trademarked by the BBC). Henry absolutely loves show me show me and asks to watch it on the iPad every morning before 7am.

I was a bit worried about how we would get on as it started at 11am which is usually naptime, but we thought we'd just stay for the first half and see how we got on.

He sat in stony silence through most of it like he couldn't understand why they were on stage in front of him rather than on TV! Towards the end of the first half he got into it with some noisy oinking and baaing! He started falling asleep in the interval so we beat a hasty retreat but due to a combination of roadworks and flooding it took us an hour to get home - normally a 15 min journey, what a nightmare!

Anyway, when we got home we had a long nap, a walk, Henry had a good portion of cauliflower cheese pasta for tea and now it's in the night garden time...
