Sarracenia

The flowers on this carnivorous plant amaze me. This is the tallest flower we've ever had at 19".

A went to The Mates today to finish off a few of our printing jobs then home to tidy up a bit after the garage roofers (formerly called painters and prior to that house roofers).

Well, while I had been out they'd removed a lot of branches from my lovely acers and thrown them down onto my fern collection in my woodland garden. I was horrified. I bet, because nothing down there is in flower at the moment, they didn't think it was a proper bit of garden I cared for and looked after!
