Black Country Day

Today we celebrated Black Country Day in school the children and staff wore red, black and white the colours of the Black Country flag we learnt about how the canals were made and the children did some drama of digging the canals and then legging the boat through the tunnel, they designed and named the canal barges and they had a go at some canal art on a wooden spoon and then to finish of the day each child had a bag of goodies as party food. Had a lovely day.
