Grand day out!

I had a wonderful day today with two ladies who I met in a networking group. We feel that we’ve got to know each other well in the past year, but haven’t met many times in person.

So today we went to an independent craft supplies shop in Tiptree! We all are arty in a different way. K. crochets, J is an author, and we all dabble in lots of things.

We joked it was early closing in the craft shop, and we just about managed to fit in our perusing. 

We followed it with lunch at ‘The Jam Factory’  in Tiptree, which wasn’t too busy at all. The air was fragrant with red fruit, which was rather lovely.

J. has recently had a children’s book published, and is going to be doing some events in bookshops over the summer. We’ve suggested being her ‘cheerleaders’  as basically an excuse for  bookshops, tea and cake! 

I feel very fortunate to have such lovely new partners in craft and cake crime!
