Sunning itself

We were out in the garden this morning, another two hours of digging before it got too hot. Then I popped into town and I spotted this painted lady, (correction red admiral) sunning itself on a warm wall. This afternoon we went for our promised swim which was refreshing, still a bit chilly for those not used to the temperature. While sitting on the beach we spotted the Queen Mary 2 setting off for Southampton ( I checked my App later). It was rather a long way away but I bet the occupants of the sailing boat had a good view.We last saw the liner in Weymouth last year and previous to that we saw it in Milford Sound in New Zealand when we were on holiday over there in 2017.
