Privit

I was just inspecting the flowers on the privit hedge running down the drive that boundaries the neighbours garden because I’d never seen them before … or never noticed them I should say … when this little hover fly appeared. It was good enough to wait for me to whip my phone out and get a couple of shots of it.

No painting this afternoon, but I got a call from the lady at the property where I painted the stables asking if I could help her tidy up the house her youngest daughter had been living in until she ‘fledged’ a couple of weeks ago. She’s gone to live with her farmer chap near Hull. I’ve been mucking out horses there for the last four years during the winter months, so that will be a bit odd for me, not dashing round there after I’ve finished at my main job. However I do have the alpaca job now, so I won’t be bored!
