Colchester Half

Three of my friends were running the Colchester Half Marathon today, so we went to cheer them along. (Two of them are the ones here in the yellow gloves). They set off at 9am, so it was an early start, and so cold waiting; especially up at the stadium in the bitter winds, but definitely worth it. All three of them battled injuries on the way round, so they did so well to finish. It was fun to be on the spectating side of things as I sat this run out, not feeling ready to attempt this distance yet. One of the best bits was when we all piled in the pub afterwards for post-race food and shandies next to the radiator.
