Kerria
Lots of flowers to choose from today - we woke up by the river next to ancient woodland filled with blushing wood anemone, budding bluebells, and wild garlic just opening into flower. However I opted for Kerria captured in the blazing sunshine because it's such an important essence.
Kerria flower essence is used for emotional balance, bringing calm to emotional extremes and violence. Difficulties finding emotional balance stem from malfunction in the solar plexus chakra. When you're using your power appropriately you will feel fire in your belly, however emotions can get stuck and out of balance here. Excessive mood swings and violent rage can be balanced by taking Kerria flower essence.
Lovely day in the sunshine, followed by ice cream at Mrs Dowson's Ice Cream Cafe - the guys opted for chocolate orange and treacle toffee honeycomb. On the way home we picked a couple of large handfuls of wild garlic leaves in the woodland. I later added a pack of pine nuts, splosh of olive oil, juice of half a lemon and plenty of black pepper blitzed in the blender to make wild garlic pesto. We're fuelled by fresh produce and feeling very at one with nature!
