Happy Bastille Day

Lunch hour rambles in warm sunshine.

Great craic at Chez Louis in the Main Street. The owner and staff were delighted to pose for me and smiled at ‘fromage’.

I had intended to get a key cut but forgot and instead bought 2 tee-shirts, a skirt, pair of shoes, lipstick and nail polish. Not bad going for an hour. Eh!

I have been invited to a neighbour’s back garden for cassoulet and crusty bread and a glass of cidre and a chat. So will have to dash home from work and make the dessert which I will bring with me. It’s called Cherry Clafoutis. I made the batter last night and bought the cherries fresh. This is lovely with vanilla ice cream or yoghurt
