River meets the ocean..........

........after days of heavy rain. 

We have driven 250kms south today to "the other house" through some super heavy rain. Fortunately, this time, no damage to the house, no trees down, and we have power! Hooray! And a new pump has been installed for the tank so we have water - super happy :-))

We zoomed down to the beach between showers just before five this evening and saw that the creek had turned into a river and reached the ocean. Sometimes this never occurs and sometimes it happens much later in the season so this is a bit nice. We will go to Yallingup tomorrow and check out the surf. Apparently the swell got to 12 metres a couple of days ago!! Blimey!

Thanks to bobsblips for hosting yet again - there are no rings in this but perhaps, if you use your imagination, you can see a circle in the swirling wave as it swirls either in or out.........I can ;-))
