Feather Report

We found this pile of feathers at Greenway House. Sadly they are all that remained of a predated Great Spotted Woodpecker. They are a wonder of nature, and there were almost enough to put it back together again, though there was only one with a tinge of red. We put them in our feather collection started in lockdown - a nice Victorian sort of hobby. We haven’t got many but these are the stars.
