A grand day

An early start as Phin is still suffering from an upset tummy so he needed out around 4. He fell back to sleep quite quickly and it was 9 before we woke again.

Made breakfast for the troops (sausage, bacon, black pudding, tattie scones and eggs) and by the time we’d finished up and got organised to head out it, it was almost lunchtime!

Headed into Oban in G&G’s van as it has 4 travelling sears (with seatbelts) and is slightly smaller than ours which made it a little more manoeuvreable.

Town was busy but we managed to get parked up and headed off to walk round the harbour and up and down the Main Street. Mr PHL is suffering really badly from midfield buts so we needed to pick up more spray and soothing cream from the chemist. We had a quick 1/2 sandwich sitting by the harbour before heading back to the site where after a walk through the forest I enjoyed a wee nap outside under the awning.

Dinner was lasagne, salad and garlic bread courtesy of my in-laws before a few games of cards. Tried to get an early night but it was once again after midnight. Hoping it’s less bitey tonight!
