Along the River

This morning we drove down Stevenson Road intending to walk up the Clutha from there.  The mud at the end of the road where you park was so bad we feared that after another hour or so (it was sunny) we might have to put chains on to get out!!  We turned round and continued on to Shortcut Road and walked upriver from there.  The track was a bit muddy but not too bad.  This evening it is raining and we are all hoping for snow in the mountains overnight.
