Istanbul

Two new books..explaining why I love living in this city. Today I lost one of my patient in ICU. She was born in 1925 and she was a jewish Turkish. They came to Istanbul from Spain in 1492. Lived safely in Ottoman empire.
Her son brought me two other books about Synagogues of Istanbul today. Because the house I bought was a jewish house and there are 5 synagogues around in Balat district where my house in. I am reading about them now. happy sunday
