Yes indeed, and often a wretched pest. But it's still pretty, pretty enough for me to put it in a vase as tho' it had come straight from some up-market florist! It has a rather high falutin name as well: Sonchus oleraceus...until you look for the common name which is Common Sowthistle because it is attractive to pigs...
