Transformation

The dragon fly nymphs are coming out of the pond. The transformation from life under water to life in the air begins. Slowly the dragon fly hatches out of the nymph. Very fragile and pale, soaks up the sun to warm up and dry out its wings. Within an hour it flies off. Fascinating to watch, especially when it is your own garden pond.
