After the Rain

The heavy rain overnight has left its mark on the land. The tracks and paths are once again waterlogged. The ominous clouds suggested a waterproof jacket for this morning's local run, but in the event the rain kept off. The sun never actually broke through, but added lots of interest to the sky. What joy to be serenaded by skylarks for over half of this morning's outing. Despite the look of things spring is definitely underway : )
