Injured fledging

Rescued this young seagull sitting off the road. Glad I got him safely in a cat cage until a wildlife rescue arrived, as he’s broke his leg up high in his thigh. Likely first attempt to fly and has crashed landed. She has a few fledgings who have crash landed so some pain relief and splint and will be released with the other young gulls out the coast when well enough away from the city snd buildings
