Making Memories

Sunny and very hot/humid all day. Up early to get my blip. Hubby and grandson Parker were going kayaking on the St. Mary’s River at 7:30 am. We drove separately so I could leave when it got too hot and muggy. We ran into a snag right away. Both hubby and I have life time senior passes to any Maryland state or National park that we bought as soon as we were eligible. They have installed a gate that requires a magnetic strip to activate. Our cards are paper. We received no notification to upgrade our card and hubby has yet to find any on line info to help us. So, we both paid the daily fee and went in. After getting a shot of the boys heading out on their adventure, I hiked for awhile and took a few more pictures. Otherwise, I puttered around the house, took Sky to dance, brought Mancil to Parker’s and will soon make spaghetti for dinner before we pick Sky up at 8:00 pm. Hubby had a routine physical and also caught up on a few projects. “Surely, two of the most satisfying experiences in life must be those of being a grandchild or a grandparent.” - Donald A. Norberg. Thanks for the visit and gifts.
