Random cat.

Walked Ali this morning, swam my 40 lengths at lunchtime, then went for a walk with my camera this afternoon to find a blip. This cat seemed intrigued by me just a few metres from home, thought I'd snap it to make a change from my usual dog or flowers pics!

I don't know if this is even possible, but along the canal there have been Mandarin ducks, back in the spring a male Mandarin duck was very  aggressive towards the male Mallards, he looked to have paired up with a female Mallard. A few weeks ago he was out with a brood of chicks (couldn't see the Mum anywhere). Today I saw what looked like a hybrid of the two, I'll add the pics I took as extras. He does seem to have features of booth species, but I'm no ornithologist.
