Hospital Day 4

Freedom! The rather unpleasant person opposite me has been discharged so I can open my curtains!!

Still not responding to the drugs as they would have hoped - still got massive temperature spikes (39.7 was the highest) so various cultures were organised to see if they could see what was going on.

And then in the afternoon I was told that I wasn't actually on the hospital protocol treatment for pneumonia. No idea how that happened - probably in the confusion of A&E when I first arrived and then perhaps moving across 2 wards. Who knows ...

Anyway new IV and oral antibiotics started in the evening with the oxygen and nebulisers continuing.
