Self-seeded on Steps
On one step is growing a fancy Nemesia. I grew this in pots 2 years ago so the seed must have lain there dormant till this spring.
On the next step down is something that my plant-identifying phone app says is a Himalayan honeysuckle whose berries will attract blackbirds & pheasants.
On the next step down again is a fern, maidenhair spleenwort.
Other plants on the steps include fox & cubs, rosebay willowherb and common sowthistle. I don't sweep my steps - long live the weeds and the wilderness yet.
