Cheers for a Summer Evening

Eight old friends toasted each other, and the very pleasant evening, with a small cocktail from George, who walked to our hosts' house with a nicely chilled thermos. We eight have been meeting (25 -30 years) for a variety of reasons from Sustainable Living sessions that morphed into a Push for Change movement where we mowed city parks to promote the use of push mowers (great to see people with push mowers arriving by bus), to George and JoAnn's annual Solstice Verbiage parties where a large group share poetry, songs, jokes, and even an occasional trombone bit. Betty and Richard invited us over for a pasta dinner; where they introduced us to a new pasta shape (see Extra), and gave us this chance to be together. The other Extra is Richard's wide-angle shot, thanks, Richard.
