Hard Cheese

Kate and Sophie came over this morning as Sophie wanted to show us her end of year school report, which she was justly proud of.

There was a food market taking place in the High Street so Chris joined us and, after burning off a bit of Sophie’s energy in the park, we treated ourselves to some of the fare from the stalls for lunch. The Bath Soft Cheese Company’s stall in the foreground was doing a brisk trade!

The rain set in in the afternoon so it gave us the excuse to watch the Men’s Singles Final from Wimbledon before the tension of the England v Italy Euros Final. Such a shame to lose on penalties again but the players have done themselves and the country proud over the course of the tournament and you have to say that Italy were probably the better and more battle-hardened team on the night, coping with the occasion better than we did.

A case of hard cheese, of the Parmigiana variety!
